Beef Recipes

Everyone has their own idea of the perfectly prepared cut of beef. Whether yours is a Filet Mignon pan roasted, a Porterhouse grilled, or a Top Sirloin marinated until tender and broiled, the fact is that Americans love beef and there are hundreds of ways to enjoy it. Gourmet beef dishes start with great grades of cuts of beef or lesser cuts of beef that have been tenderized and prepared for the proper cooking method.

Grades of beef are numerous, but USDA Prime, Choice and Select are the cuts of the gourmet. Prime may be difficult to locate. Head to your local butcher shop or ask the meat manager at your local supermarket for guidance. Choice and Select are the grades of beef found on supermarket shelves.
