Cuban Style Marinated Steak

Sirloin steak marinated in orange juice, oil, lime juice, steak seasoning, oregano leaves, and cumin. Sirloin grilled to desired doneness.
Ingredients -
1/4 cup Orange Juice
2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
1-1/2 teaspoons Oregano Leaves
1/2 tsp ground Cumin
2 pounds Sirloin Steak, trimmed
 
Preparation:

1. Mix orange juice, vegetable oil, lime juice, steak seasoning, oregano leaves, and cumin in large re-sealable plastic bag or glass dish.

2. Add sirloin steak, turn to coat well.

3. Seal bag and refrigerate 30 minutes or longer.

4. Remove sirloin steak from marinade, reserving remaining marinade.

5. Preheat grill to medium heat.

6. Grill over direct heat 6 minutes. Turn and grill 8 minutes.

7. Brush with reserved marinade towards end of cooking time.

8. Discard remaining marinade.

9. Serve hot.

Marinating
For best results marinate sirloin several hours to overnight.

Grilling
When grilling, make sure coals are medium heat, ashy white in color. Grill over direct heat half the cooking time, turn and grill until finished. Avoid turning beef or steaks more than once.
