Beef Stroganoff with Mushrooms and Garlic

 
Ingredients -
2 Pounds Beef Tenderloin, cut into bite sized pieces
1/4 Cup Flour
Salt, to taste
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Cups Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Can Beef Broth, (14 ounces)
2 Cups Sour Cream
1/4 Cup Dry Red Wine
 
Preparation:

1. Lightly coat tenderloin pieces with flour and salt and pepper.

2. In a large saucepan, sauté beef in butter with onions, mushrooms and garlic until meat is browned and onions and mushrooms are tender.

3. Add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth and cook over medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.

4. Stir in sour cream and wine and heat for about 5 minutes.

5. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
